We are a non-profit organization and 100% of our donations go to help rescue, shelter and protect horses. We will never turn a horse away no matter its condition. Every year we offer free castration and euthanasia clinics, and we offer a no questions asked buy out for equines. Every year we are one of the three largest rescues in the state by numbers of horses assisted.
What makes CHRN different?
-CHRN operates on a ranch that CHRN owns outright. No mortgage, no rent, no landlord, no being asked to move for any reason. Safety.
-CHRN believes horses should live in social groups with freedom to move and free access to forage. We only stall when needed medically.
-CHRN accepts ALL horses. Not just adoptable ones. We do NOT pull from feedlots where traders are made rich. We work to get horses first from owners, auctions, and law enforcement.

Donations from CHRN supporters allowed Bandera to receive the vet and farrier care she desperately needed! She and the 12 others rescued from Casper, WY were all saved and have found homes. Their costs were covered entirely by financial support from our followers!
